Please Note: The impact of hosting our externship at a Christian church was carefully considered, as these spaces are not unquestioningly safe for all. A key factor in selecting FUMC for our trainings is its explicit welcoming stance of reconciliation and inclusivity. In discussion with their events coordinator we felt that they were committed to building a safe and welcoming community that extends beyond their congregation.
